Manchester City have some of the best players in the world, yet they are still monitoring Arsenal’s star man, Bukayo Saka according to FOOTBALL365.
Bukayo Saka has been flourishing this season for the Gunners which is backed up by the fact he has the most goal contributions out of any player for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this campaign.
Manchester City have been ‘keeping tabs’ on the Arsenal player and may look to make a move for the 21-year-old in the near future, if Arsenal can’t get his long-term contract wrapped up soon.
However the word out of Arsenal is they aren’t scared & there’s absolutely no fear that Bukayo Saka will not sign a contract extension soon. The player wants to stay at Arsenal & of course, the club are desperate to keep him.
These things take time as we all know, but the club are confident Bukayo Saka will put pen to paper very soon.
The news about Saka being monitored by the English Giants came from Ben Jacobs and Football365. Ben Jacobs wrote in the CaughtOffside column stating the following about the star…
“The complication is not about a desire on Saka’s part to leave, because he absolutely wants to sign at Arsenal, but he expects his form and progression to get improved terms that match that level of standard, and this can take time sometimes.”
“Arsenal have to be careful not to set a precedent that can damage them in the future because if they win the Premier League, qualify for the Champions League, every Arsenal player is going to naturally get bonuses and ask potentially for improved terms, and new players would come in on high packages as well, so you end up bumping up your wage bill and have other players holding you to higher terms.”
“So it will be interesting to see if they do decide to allow a clause that opens the door to future suitors, but either way I don’t see an eventuality where Saka doesn’t sign a new contract, I think that will get done.”

Talking about the promising young threat, Saka’s statistics have been superb. In 19 appearances in the Premier League Saka has notched seven goals and seven assists, most recently with an absolute worldie and MOTM vs. Manchester United.
Saka is Arsenal’s present & future and people at the club are confident he will put pen to paper very soon.
