Former Chelsea & Tottenham defender Jason Cundy has given his opinion on the Premier League title race this season and I think it might surprise a few people considering the clubs he used to play for.
Jason Cundy, via TalkSport, insists Arsenal is the best club in the England right now & he does not think Manchester United has what it takes to catch them.
With Manchester City struggling in their last game during the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham, Arsenal still remain five points clear at the top of the table despite losing only their second league game of the season to Everton last weekend.
Despite losing only their second game of the season, Mikel Arteta’s side have been very consistent overall and that is the main reason they find themselves at the top of the table with 18 games left to play.
Under Erik Ten Hag, United has become one of the finest clubs in the country as well and they could even move above City if the champions keep performing badly. However, Cundy insists Manchester United will not come close to Arsenal.
Jason Cunday said on TalkSport:
“Manchester United can’t go on a run, they are not brilliant. Arsenal are the best club in the country and the league table will tell you that. They are the most balanced, in my opinion, the best side to get the balance between defence and attack right.”
