Liverpool legend and pundit Jamie Carragher has said Reiss Nelson will become an Arsenal legend if they manage to go on and win the title this season, after the 23-year old scored a stoppage time winner against Bournemouth at the weekend.
Reiss Nelson scored in 97th minute, to win Arsenal the game and those three points could prove crucial come the end of the season.
Jamie Carragher stated that Nelson could cement his place in Arsenal’s history by saying:
“You get people saying they shouldn’t be celebrating. Celebrate it, go for it, embrace it. That will be one of those moments that Reiss Nelson will be remembered – if Arsenal win the league, that moment will be remembered forever. We’ll be watching it back in years to come if Arsenal can go on and win this title.”

Carragher praised The Gunners for their performances since the absence of their first-choice striker Gabriel Jesus.
He also shared his feelings and opinion about Arsenal’s title charge, and how The Gunners can do it.
In the Football Daily debate on Monday evening, Carragher stated that The Gunners need to be at least five points clear of Manchester City going into the upcoming international break, which could give Arsenal’s young team encouragement to see out the rest of the season at the top of the Premier League.
His prediction for the title is 50/50, with him praising Arsenal mentality but also expressing how Manchester City’s bench and squad depth could be an important factor in the race for the Premier League title.
