Hussein Isa has been appointed in a newly-created role to help Arsenal’s strikers. The former Hashtag United player earned this nickname by displaying his incredible skills and free-kick-taking ability online.
In his youth, he was a trainee at Arsenal’s rival Tottenham Hotspur, later moving on to represent England in Futsal. He has worked as a body double for players such as Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero in commercial shoots.
It is reported Arsenal are hoping he will “provide specialist assistance” to their attacking players, specializing in the technical side of their game like shooting, heading, and touch. He will be working with the Arsenal academy simultaneously with the senior team, supposedly taking up the position in the summer.

This is an exciting move from the Gunners, going down a slightly unconventional route in signing an entertainer/online coach, rather than an out-and-out, traditional coach. It would be a welcome sight for Arsenal fans to see more technical goals like free-kicks scored within the next few seasons, having been treated to just 3 free-kick goals in the last 3 Premier league campaigns.
With all the attacking talent in the squad, this might be a masterclass of an appointment from Mikel Arteta, who will now be able to help his players reach their potential even more efficiently.
