Granit Xhaka has recently spoken up about Arsenal’s title chances this season & the boost Gabriel Jesus being back will give the team as the Gunners are aiming to win their first league title in 19 years.

Granit Xhaka is producing the best football of his Arsenal career this season, with the midfielder having 5 goals & 5 assists in all competitions so far this campaign.

His brilliant performances have contributed to Arsenal also having their best season in years, with Mikel Arteta’s side currently on more wins than Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles after 27 games played.

However, some pundits and former footballers are skeptical after Arsenal’s last couple of performances, following the Gunners needing a last minute winner to get past Bournemouth, as well as them crashing out of the Europa League this week.

The message from some pundits is that Arsenal’s performances, of winning in the last minute, aren’t sustainable and Manchester City soon will catch up with the Gunners.

But Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka strongly disagrees…

“I have a different opinion –  you see the last games, the results, we won them. We have to respect all the opponent. Even in the Premier League you play against first or last, it’s the same. It’s difficult. But as long as you get the result, nobody will ask you at the end of May.”

Granit Xhaka has full belief in this team & is confident Arsenal can sustain their good form until May. He’s also not the only player to speak out publicly about Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League, with captain Martin Odegaard saying…

“‘If there’s anyone left who still doesn’t fully believe in this team, take it from me: there are no limits on what we can achieve. ‘No one can tell me otherwise.”

Granit Xhaka went on to speak about the importance of the return of Gabriel Jesus, by saying:

“Step by step, I hope that Gabi will be 100 per cent fit to help this team because we know that he can help us. With his attitude, with his personality, he is very, very important for us.”

Arsenal’s next Premier League game is on Sunday against Crystal Palace, where the Gunners have the opportunity to go eight points clear of Manchester City with 10 games remaining, if they manage to get all three points.

Granit Xhaka & Martin Odegaard have backed the team to do something no Arsenal team has managed to do in 19 years… If they believe, so should you.
