Gary Neville has revealed his Premier League Team of the Team, with five Arsenal players in the list and former Arsenal player who was sold by Mikel Arteta on his arrival.

Arsenal’s remarkable performance throughout the Premier League campaign has earned widespread recognition, with Arteta receiving praises for his tactical acumen and player development over the past year.

After 37 Premier League matches, Arsenal boast an impressive record, ranking second in goals scored (89) and conceding the fewest goals (28). Such stellar statistics have not gone unnoticed, as pundits and fans alike acknowledge the contributions of several Arsenal players, many of whom are deemed worthy of inclusion in the Team of the Season.

In a recent announcement, football pundit Gary Neville unveiled his Team of the Season, featuring five Arsenal players alongside one former Gunner. Notably, Arsenal dominate the defensive lineup, with Ben White, William Saliba, and Gabriel Magalhaes earning well-deserved spots. In midfield, the talents of Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice are recognised for their exceptional performances throughout the campaign.

However, it was the inclusion of Emiliano Martinez, now plying his trade at Aston Villa, that raised eyebrows. Despite leaving Arsenal in 2020, Martinez’s stellar displays in goal prompted Neville to laud him as the best goalkeeper of the season. Highlighting Martinez’s character and personality, Neville emphasised his crucial role in Villa’s success, while picking him over other top contenders including Golden Glove Winner, David Raya.

Arsenal are preparing for the final game of the season against Everton on Sunday, with the hope of winning the Premier League title hanging in the balance, albeit contingent upon favourable results elsewhere. Despite a setback with Tottenham’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City, Arsenal remain determined to secure victory in their season finale while hoping for a slip-up from Pep Guardiola’s side against West Ham United.
