Gabriel Jesus has been out of action for a month and a half now. Arsenal’s number nine injured his knee on the 2nd December, making it 52 days into his recovery.
Gabriel Jesus posted this photo via Instagram of him back on the grass earlier today…

The Brazilian striker told Khabib Nurmagomedov at the Arsenal game against Manchester United a week ago that he hopes to return in “four or five weeks”.
According to that time frame, Gabriel Jesus could be back in action within 3/4 weeks.
Mikel Arteta recently praised Jesus’ hard work and determination while undergoing his recovery and that the player is doing everything in his power to be back on the pitch as soon as possible.
The 25-year-old has made an instant impact since joining The Gunners at the beginning of the season, scoring five goals and getting seven assists in all competitions before the World Cup. However, Eddie Nketiah has come in, in Jesus’ absence, and done extremely well with his chance, scoring against Brighton, West Ham, Oxford United & Manchester United so far.
Arsenal aren’t feeling the effects of Gabriel Jesus’ injury on the pitch just yet with Mikel Arteta’s men sitting five points clear at the top of the table, but the boss wants competition for places and he’ll hope his number nine is back in action as soon as possible.
