Gabriel Jesus has been out of action for over two months now. Arsenal’s number nine injured his knee on the 2nd December, making it 66 days into his recovery.
The Brazilian as recently taken another massive step in his recovery from knee surgery, after being seen back on the pitch and running lengths as he continues to get ever closer to a return.
The Gunners have been with their number nine since Premier League football returned after the World Cup, however have coped relatively well in his absence as they remain top of the Premier League.

Gabriel Jesus was seen in a video recently stating he would be back in around four/five weeks time – if that is correct then the Brazilian could be back before the end of the month. Below is an update via Twitter from Dr. Rajpal Brar on what stage of rehabilitation Gabriel Jesus is currently at.
Clear & excellent signs of progress for #Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus. Straight line running with pace. Next steps will be increasing that pace and then adding multi-directional movements as well. Getting closer but key as always is how the knee responds to the progressions https://t.co/XoQvOk2uRy

Arsenal face Brentford & Manchester next in their next two games at the Emirates Stadium, however these two games are likely come too soon for Gabriel Jesus. However games against Aston Villa and Leicester City to close out the month could present a better opportunity to see the Brazilian back in the squad.
The comeback is getting nearer.
