Former Arsenal player, Dani Ceballos has said that for him Mikel Arteta is one of the best coaches in the world.
Dani Ceballos emerged as a rising talent back in his Real Betis days. He was then approached by Spanish giants Real Madrid and went on to join them.
However, he struggled to keep up in his first season at Real Madrid. Eventually he was sent out to Arsenal on loan for two consecutive seasons. These were both two separate loan spells.
In one of his previous interviews, he stated that the manager, Mikel Arteta, was the main reason why he decided to stay at Arsenal, and that since joining the club he had become a much more mature player, having improved a lot.
Dani Ceballos said in an interview via managingmadrid.com:
“Arteta has everything to be top 3 in the world. I learned new things with him. I anticipated what happened in the matches. What I lived with him, I will hardly live with another coach. He knows what the player needs. For me, he will be one of the best in the world.”

Mikel Arteta’s ability to grow and mould youngsters into top talents is widely recognised. Many pundits and football players, former and current, have recognised his abilities.
Arsenal captain, Martin Ødegaard, said in an interview with the players tribune:
“I spoke to Mikel Arteta on a Zoom call and he told me all about the project. At the time, Arsenal were not doing well. They were way down like 15th in the table, but that meeting … Honestly, I challenge anyone to come away from a meeting with Arteta and not believe everything he tells you. He is next level. It’s hard to explain.”
This further proves that Mikel Arteta truly is a special coach and human being. He has worked with a lot of young players and all of them have had only positive things to say about him.
