Talented young Ex-Arsenal academy player Omari Hutchinson made his senior debut for Chelsea during tonight’s match against Manchester City. The game had come to a stand-still for Chelsea. After conceding from a clinical goal by Riyad Mahrez in the 63rd minute, Graham Potter made a 3-man substitution, rewarding 19-year-old Omari Hutchinson with a chance to grab some minutes (notably replacing another Ex-arsenal player & captain in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang). The young prospect certainly deserved the opportunity, netting 5 goals and 4 assists in 11 appearances for the Chelsea U21s.

Despite having left Arsenal on a free transfer last year, It seems he might have been a player worth holding onto. Although slightly outshone by fellow debutant Lewis hall, who looked much more comfortable on the ball, Hutchinson displayed a quiet, but solid performance. A notable moment was when he headed a skillful ball to Havertz, who was in a dangerous, but slightly offside, position to score.

He certainly needs to develop his game a lot more to become a regular, however he definitely has the skillset and potential to succeed at this level.

In a few years will Arteta regret letting Omari Hutchinson leave to a rival club on a free?
