Emile Smith Rowe has spoken on the two players that have completely changed the dynamics of the Arsenal team this season, as well as naming the best technical player he’s ever worked with.
Arsenal’s number ten hasn’t played as much as he would have liked this season after undergoing groin surgery in October and is still yet to start a Premier League game for the Gunners since.
However, he has been ever-present in training and in the dressing room and he has had his say on his Arsenal teammates, specifically the recently transferred Manchester City duo, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Smith Rowe was full of praise for both, by stating:
“I felt it from pre-season, you could see the look on everyone’s face as to how ready everyone was. With the likes of Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus coming in, it just felt like the whole dynamic changed.
They’ve been there, they know what it’s like to win. I’d definitely say a lot of it was down to them coming in because their mentality has been indescribable. I can’t believe Manchester City let them go.”

He specifically praised Zinchenko by saying he is one of the best technical players he has ever seen and that he can’t wait to share more minutes with him on the pitch.
Gabriel Jesus & Oleksandr Zinchenko are both a big reason why Arsenal currently find themselves top of the Premier League, eight points clear of their former club with both completely changing Arsenal’s way of playing this season.
Who would have thought a left-back could have such an impact on the way a team set-up, but that’s what Zinchenko has done for Arsenal this season. He’s so important to the way Mikel Arteta wants to play, with the Ukrainian coming inside and essentially playing as deep midfielder, setting up attacks and dictating play.
There is no doubt that Arsenal hit the jackpot with the former Manchester City boys and The Citizens will think twice before selling players to Arsenal in the future.
Manchester City might not have just sold two players to Arsenal, but the Premier League might have also gone with them to North London.
