
Arsenal have today announced the contract extension for French centre-back, William Saliba.
It was announced today that the frenchman has signed a new long-term contract at Arsenal, keeping him at the Emirates Stadium until 2027. William Saliba follows in the footsteps of Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson in signing a new deal at the club in 2023.
William Saliba uploaded an Instagram post after the announcement with the caption: ” This club means such a lot to me, I want to thank the boss, Edu and the staff for extending my stay here. Gooners, we have always have a special relationship now it’s time to build on it.”
Bukayo Saka commented on the post saying: “Finallyy” with the long-awaited contract saga coming to an end today.

Arsenal fans have been telling William Saliba to ‘sign da ting’ for months now and clearly so was Bukayo Saka after his reaction on William Saliba’s instagram post this afternoon.
Bukayo Saka also signed a new Arsenal contract only a couple of months ago with the club tying down many of their young talents to new long-term contracts ahead of next season.
Aaron Ramsdale, Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson are the other players to having signed a contract extension recently at Arsenal with Ben White and Martin Odegaard set to follow shortly.
