Bukayo Saka has recently revealed the one Arsenal player who every team in the world would love to have. Under Mikel Arteta’s management the club now has many great players within the squad, however Bukayo Saka has singled out Ben White as a player who would be a valuable asset to any football team.
Ben White joined the Gunners from Brighton in a deal worth around £50million in the summer of 2021 and since then he’s become one of the most consistent and reliable players at the club. He rarely has a bad game & he rarely gets injured and he even when he does pick up a knock, he has the resilience and determination to play through.
Most notably in 2022 when Arsenal travelled to Newcastle needing a win to secure their place in the top four. Ben White played the game with a hamstring strain which tells you everything you need to know about the defender and his determination.
During his first full season at the club he initially played as a centre-back, however he has seamlessly adapted to the right-back role, where he’s built a great partnership with Bukayo Saka down the right-hand side.

Ben White has previously said that he doesn’t consider himself a huge football fan as he would never go home and watch a game out of choice. He rather views his profession as a job. However despite this perspective, he is one of the most professional players within the Arsenal squad, consistently delivering strong performances wherever he plays.
The defender rarely feels pressure and always seems so calm on the ball despite the occasion which is probably helped by the way he sees football as he’s less emotionally involved compared to some players which can definitely work in his favour.
Bukayo Saka recently said on Ben White: “Ben gets the crowd going, man. Everyone needs a Ben in their team.”
Arsenal face Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend and although the club is going through a mini injury crisis at the minute, Ben White is one player available for selection as per usual.
