Addressing concerns over physicality on the pitch, Saka highlighted his resilience and growth as a player, asserting his readiness to endure challenges from opposition defenders. Despite facing rough treatment throughout the season, he remains undeterred, focusing on his role in the team and maintaining his attacking prowess.

“I feel like I’m physically much stronger than I was four or five years ago. For each tackle.

“I have more experience in terms of which ones to go for and which ones to jump, to try to avoid a big tackle. So I’m much smarter as well as physically stronger than I was.”

Acknowledging the significance of the derby to himself, his family, and Arsenal fans, Saka emphasised the broader context of the match within the Premier League title race. With crucial points on the line, he highlighted the team’s collective goal of securing victory and staying focused amidst the intensity of the rivalry.
