Former Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has assured Arsenal fans of a thrilling performance this weekend as Fulham gears up to take on Manchester City. The Cottagers are set to face a formidable Man City side on Saturday, fresh off a commanding 5-1 victory over Wolves in their previous outing.

The upcoming match holds significant interest for Arsenal supporters, with Man City trailing just a point behind the Gunners, albeit having played one game less. Arsenal’s title aspirations hinge on their rivals dropping points, making every fixture crucial in the race for the league title.

Leno, who has been instrumental for Fulham this season, aims to continue his impressive form against Manchester City, following a resilient display in a recent London derby against Brentford. In that fixture, Leno’s heroics between the posts helped Fulham secure a valuable point, breaking a streak of defeats at the Gtech Community Stadium.

He celebrated the draw at Brentford with an Instagram post, saying: “+1 and a clean sheet ⚫️⚪️ two more games to go 🤙🏽”. The post has attracted a lot of interest online and became even merrier when he responded to one of the replies from a user named Ioannis, urging him to replicate the same next weekend when Fulham take on Manchester City at Craven Cottage.

He said: “Same again next week brother. All 👀 on you,” and Leno responded: “Okay boss!” Arsenal fans under the replies urge the former Arsenal goalkeeper to keep another clean sheet against Manchester City to help the team win the title.

The Gunners are hoping to continue their push for the title when they travel to Old Trafford on Sunday as huge favourites to face Manchester United. If they win the remaining two matches, they will need results elsewhere to go their way, with the champions dropping points.
