Folarin Balogun has made a MASSIVE statement tonight, scoring a 3rd goal to complete his hat trick against Lorient. The England u21 has made a name for himself in Ligue 1 so far this season after being sent to Reims on a season-long loan from Arsenal.
After his side were 2-0 down after 35 minutes, it was looking completely dier for Reims, however Arsenal’s young striker slotted away a penalty in the 44th minute, watched a few Theirry Henry compilations at half-time, and bagged two more in quick succession on the 61st and 64th minute to put his side 4-2 up.

He has now scored 5 goals in 3 matches, including a last-minute equalizer against PSG last Sunday, and has a tally of 14 goals in 17 games in Ligue One.
To say Folarin Balogun is smashing it in France is an understatement.
This match now solidifies him as one of the most exciting up-and-coming strikers in Europe, and with reports early in January that the likes of AC Milan were, and probably still are, interested in him, Arsenal & Mikel Arteta have a big decision to make on his future come the end of the season.
With Gabriel Jesus & Eddie Nketiah already smashing it at Arsenal, it’s currently unclear if Folarin Balogun will get the necessary gamete at Arsenal in order to fulfil his full potential.
However that decision can wait until the summer, for now Balogun just needs to keep doing what he is doing with him currently sitting above Kylian Mbappe in the Ligue One top scorers so far this season.
