
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has been voted Premier League Manager of the Month for March 2023.
Arteta has won the prize four times this season, more than any other manager in the Premier League this season, and will equal Jurgen Klopp’s record if he wins again this season.
The Spaniard was nailed on favourite to win the prize after guiding Arsenal to a perfect month, winning all four matches in the month with his team scoring an incredible 14 goals.
Arteta was nominated for the award alongside Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Brighton & Hove Albion coach Roberto De Zerbi and Aston Villa coach Unai Emery.
Arsenal started the month with a resounding 4-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates. The league leaders also came from two goals down to snatch a late 3-2 winner against Bournemouth, with substitute Reiss Nelson making an instant impact with a goal and assist to help the Gunners win the tie.

Arteta’s side continued their impressive form at Craven Cottage against Fulham with a comfortable 3-0 win before ending the month with another London derby victory over Crystal Palace.
With two months remaining until the end of the season, Arteta is within reach of equalling Klopp’s 2019/2020 record of five Manager of the Month awards in a single campaign.
Mikel Arteta has been nominated five times this season and has won four of the awards. He has also won the award six times since rejoining Arsenal as a coach in December 2019, moving him to joint-ninth in the all-time standings.
With the announcement, it makes it a double sweep for Arsenal, after Bukayo Saka won the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.
Arsenal will begin the month of April with another Premier League fixture against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 3pm.
