
Stina Blackstenius came off the bench to score the extra-time winner as Arsenal reached the Continental Cup final with a 1-0 victory over holders Manchester City.
After a goalless 90 minutes, the Sweden international finished off a smart move to wrap up a deserved 1-0 win at Meadow Park.
It was a much needed win for Jonas Eidevall’s side who recently were held to a 0-0 draw in the league to West Ham Women.
Arsenal Women will now face either West Ham or Chelsea in the final at Selhurst Park on March 5.
The Gunners sit five points behind Chelsea Women in the league, however they do have a game in hand & what better way to build up some momentum than reaching a cup final.
