This marks the fourth consecutive month that Arteta has found himself on the shortlist for the award. Under his guidance, Arsenal secured an impressive five victories out of six league matches, all while navigating the demanding schedule of Champions League fixtures.

Having previously won the Manager of the Month award in January, Arteta’s nomination for April brings his total to seven nominations this season alone. His inclusion on the shortlist was virtually assured after Arsenal amassed an impressive 15 points throughout the month.

Arsenal’s successful run in April saw them emerge victorious against Luton Town, Brighton & Hove Albion, Wolves, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur. Notably, Arteta celebrated his 100th win in the competition during the north London derby triumph.

Competing alongside Arteta for the managerial honour are Sean Dyche of Everton, credited with steering his team clear of the relegation zone with four wins and a draw from six matches, and Pep Guardiola, whose Manchester City side boasted a flawless record with six consecutive victories.

In addition to Arteta’s nomination, Arsenal German forward, Kai Havertz, has been recognised for his outstanding contributions on the pitch. Havertz’s exceptional performance in April, which saw him score four goals and provide three assists in six games, has earned him a nomination for the Premier League Player of the Month Award.

The winners of both awards will be determined through a combination of public votes and evaluations by a panel of football experts, with the results set to be unveiled next week.

Meanwhile, in the academy category, Arsenal rising talent, Amario Cozier-Duberry, has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for April. Cozier-Duberry’s impressive displays, including four goals and one assist in four PL2 games, highlight his promising potential within the club’s youth setup.
