Mika Biereth’s impressive season on loan at Sturm Graz have sparked widespread interest, but Arsenal are yet to make a definitive decision regarding his future. The Gunners intend to hold internal discussions later this year to chart the best course of action for the promising young striker.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently highlighted a burgeoning race to secure Biereth’s signature this summer, with several clubs expressing keen interest in the prolific goal scorer. However, Arsenal have emphasised their intention to deliberate carefully before making any commitments.

Sturm Graz have reportedly shown eagerness to secure Biereth on a permanent basis, a sentiment likely bolstered by his recent impressive form. Yet, they could face stiff competition from other European clubs vying for his services.

The 21-year-old’s loan spell in Austria has been nothing short of remarkable, with Biereth notching an impressive tally of 14 goals and eight assists in 30 appearances. His contributions have been instrumental in Sturm Graz’s ascent to second place in the Austrian league, positioning them in contention for silverware.

Biereth’s success isn’t confined to his time at Sturm Graz; earlier in the campaign, he made significant strides during a loan spell at Motherwell FC, showcasing his versatility and goal-scoring prowess with a combined tally of 33 goals and assists in 30 appearances across both stints.

While Biereth has expressed a desire for regular first-team football, potentially signalling openness to a permanent move, he remains hopeful of earning an opportunity to shine at Arsenal.

Arsenal’s forthcoming internal discussions hold the key to Biereth’s future trajectory. The club faces the delicate task of balancing his impressive loan performances with their long-term strategic vision. Whether a permanent transfer or another loan spell aligns with Arsenal’s objectives remains to be determined.
