The Premier League has released the award nominees for January. Arsenal has been doing great this season, and January did not stop the Gunners from keeping this progress up.
The first award nomination, ‘Save of the Month,’ was for Arsenal’s keeper, Aaron Ramsdale. Aaron Ramsdale’s amazing save in the North London Derby shocked Arsenal fans. Ramsdale produced the star-studded game vs. the rivals. Ramsdale’s save came in the 52nd minute. Harry Kane played a through pass to Ryan Sessegnon. Aaron Ramsdale’s left leg saved the left-footed shot from 6 yards out and kept the clean sheet. That was a superb save by a superb player!

The second award goes to Player of the Month for January. The star boy Bukayo Saka has been nominated for the award! Saka played beautifully this month and showed up the most when the Gunners needed him. In the North London Derby, Saka had a crucial assist to Martin Ødegaard to make it 2-0. Also, Saka forced a Lloris own goal. Against Manchester United, Saka had a belter of a goal vs the Red Devils to give the Gunners a 2-1 lead in the 53rd minute. Saka has been in-form and January was no change to how this Arsenal youth product has been.

The third award for the month of January would be the Manager of the Month award. Mikel Arteta has been on the forefront of all the change for the club. Arsenal has looked new and improved each time they step on the pitch, and Arteta has done everything he can to make this club number one in the league at the halfway point. In the 3 matches the Spanard managed this month, he picked up 7 of 9 possible points and a +3 goal difference. Those three results were 0-0 to Newcastle at home, 2-0 at Tottenham, and 3-2 against Manchester United at home. These three clashes were all pivotal, and Arsenal did not lose any against three major rivals. What a key manager he has been!

The fourth and final award is the Goal of the Month Award. This award has also been nominated to the Shining Bukayo Saka. Against a tough Manchester United team, Saka delivered. Against heavy pressure, Saka decided to flip the performance and play beautifully. Not only was the awarded the MOTM, but his goal was just as spectacular as his overall performance. In the 53rd minute, Saka was at the top of the box on the right side. He beautifully slotted home into the bottom left corner to give the Gunners a 2-1 lead at that time. De Gea had no chance to get to the ball! Saka said about his goal,”“It’s my best goal for sure. I don’t think any other goal can argue with this one, and for what it meant as well.”
