Arsenal have been handed a massive boost as the Premier League title race nears its conclusion, ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

The Gunners know that they must beat Everton at home to have any chance of lifting the title, but will also be reliant on the formidable Manchester City dropping points when they host West Ham.

Despite the odds being heavily stacked against Mikel Arteta’s side, news has today emerged which will be seen as a big boost by those around the club as the final day of the season approaches.

Manchester City’s first-choice goalkeeper, Ederson, has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering an eye socket fracture in the Cityzens’ 2-0 win away to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening.

This means that Stefan Oterga will be called into action once more, as Pep Guardiola’s side look to clinch their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Fans who watched the end of Manchester City’s game against Tottenham will, however, be wary to celebrate news of Moreno starting, given the exceptional performance that he showed against the Lilywhites, as he has done so often for the Cityzens.

The German shot-stopper has averaged almost 2.5 saves per game in eight Premier League appearances this season, but has so far managed to keep just a single clean sheet in games he has started.
