However Leandro Trossard won’t be involved with the Belgian national team over the upcoming international break, after undergoing a minor procedure. Belgium head coach Domenico Tedesco announced his squad for the upcoming international break this week, with Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard a surprising absentee.
According to Belgian outlet HLN, Trossard’s absence is because of a minor operation he had to have following the end of the Premier League season a couple of weeks ago. The injury is set to keep him out of action for the next month, however the Arsenal forward is expected to be fit for pre-season in July.
Belgium are set to face Austria on June 17th, followed by Estonia on June 20th in two UEFA Euro qualification matches, without Leandro Trossard or Albert Sambi Lokonga, who was also not called up to the squad this time around.
