David Raya is Mikel Arteta’s number one for the foreseeable future, which has left Ramsdale on the lookout for a new club. Newcastle United and Chelsea are both very interested in the England international.

If Aaron Ramsdale does leave Arsenal this summer, it will leave the number one shirt free, which David Raya is expected to want ahead of next season.

Although the Gunners are expected to sign a new goalkeeper, David Raya will remain Mikel Arteta’s first choice, with the new addition playing a more back-up role.

The Gunners are currently targeting three players to replace Aaron Ramsdale. Former Gunner Wojciech Szczesny is at the top of the list, with Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele and Ajax goalkeeper Diant Ramaj also being considered.
