Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Manchester United had some great performances, but Saka tops them all.
Arsenal matched up with a red-hot Manchester United. It was Arsenal’s unbeaten home record vs. Manchester United’s 10-game streak. Bukayo Saka was tremendous vs. the Red Devils. Saka had five shots, two being on target and an absolute belter of a goal in the 53rd minute. Saka had a take on his goal in the post-match presser, “It’s my best goal for sure. I don’t think any other goal can argue with this one, and for what it meant. So yeah.”
Saka was an issue for Luke Shaw all night long. He had an impressive night with a 100% dribbling success rate vs. all defenders. Saka also had a shot hit off the far post right after his first goal. The English international had four key passes and four drawn fouls as well. Saka’s most likely the biggest fan favorite of all the Arsenal faithful, coming up from the youth squad all the way to the big stage.

Saka adds to his season total of goals. The English international had himself a performance. Saka had 7o touches, 37 completed passes, 5 shots, and a season-high 13 touches in the opposition box.
Saka joined Freddie Ljungberg in 1998-2000 and Thierry Henry in 2000-2001 to score in 3 successive PL appearances vs. the Red Devils. That is some elite company to be in for the 21-year-old.

Saka has taken another significant step to becoming a world-class superstar, and today’s performance vs. a red-hot Man United showed how great he is already.
The Arsenal team is having a lot of fun, with smiles all around the camp. Many players have spoken about it, but Saka had this to say about his confidence, “Yes, definitely, I’m playing with a lot of confidence, playing with a smile, playing with freedom, and everyone around me is playing so well. It’s a pleasure to play I this team. I enjoy every game, definitely.”
Saka has another great performance today and looks to bounce off of it in the next coming games.
