Arsenal head to the City ground as they prepare to play their last away game of the season. Arsenal will be travelling to Nottingham Forest in the league for the first time since 1999.

Forest have shown their quality in a good number of games this season, especially at home & at their best, they’re certainly not an easy side to break down.

Arsenal suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Brighton at the Emirates last week. This was a game that all but ended the Gunners title hopes this season with Manchester City now one win away from being crowned champions.

When asked about the team’s reaction to the loss, Mikel Arteta said: Obviously a very difficult one to swallow, especially the way it happened in the last 25 minutes of the game. At first, when it was much more competitive, we should have taken advantage of many more situations that we had in the game.”

The Arsenal boss aims to win both of the remaining games this season, even if it will not be enough to get back to the top of the table. Mikel Arteta said: “It was tough, but at the end, in the following days we discussed where we are, what we’ve done, the remaining two games, what the possibilities are there, what’s in our hands and what we can deliver. We want to continue to be at the level we’ve been at for 10 months.

As for the team news, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Martinelli have both been ruled out for the remainder of the season through injury. When asked about the injury updates, Arteta said:

“They [Zinchenko and Martinelli] are both out for the rest of the season.”

“It’s different. Gabi’s is a pretty nasty injury. We need to assess next week how long he will be out for, but it will be weeks at least. With Alex, it’s a calf issue. He won’t be available to play in the next few games.”

As for how Arsenal will line-up for the match-up against Forest, it does not look like Arsenal will make any unnecessary changes, despite the season being all but over with two games to go.

PREDICTED LINE-UP: Ramsdale, White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Tierney, Jorginho, Xhaka, Odegaard, Trossard, Jesus, Saka.
