Will Takehiro Tomiyasu start over Ben White? Will Leandro Trossard get his first Premier League start? Will Jakub Kiwior make his Arsenal debut?

Premier League leaders Arsenal look to bounce back after their surprising defeat at Goodison Park last time out, as they host an in-form Brentford side who have won four & drawn one out of their last five games.

The Gunners still hold a five point lead at the top of the Premier League table after Manchester City lost at Tottenham last weekend, however Mikel Arteta will know his side need to get back to winning ways straight away if they want to carry on the title fight that they’ve produced very well so far this season.

Here’s how we expect Mikel Arteta to line-up…

now.arsenal’s predicted line-up vs Brentford: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Xhaka, Partey, Odegaard, Saka, Nketiah, Trossard.

We expect the boss to make a few changes after the defeat at Goodison Park. Gabriel Martinelli hasn’t been at his best in recent games & it appears he’s missing the versatility of Gabriel Jesus up top. Although Eddie has done a tremendous job in the Brazilian’s absence, he’s very much a traditional number nine who wants to put the ball in the back of the net, rather than getting involved in the build-up and that seems to be having an effect on the support Gabriel Martinelli is getting on the left hand side.

Whether Leandro Trossard can sort that problem out is a question for Mikel Arteta but we feel the Belgian deserves a chance on Saturday and we expect him to make his first Premier League start for the Gunners.

As well as Trossard, we also expect Tomiyasu to come in at right back for Ben White who has looked a little tired over the last couple of games. We don’t think it will be a regular thing, just a little freshen up to the starting line-up to help Arsenal get back to winning ways this weekend.

Emile Smith Rowe is not expected to be involved as he was still absent from training today. Reiss Nelson, Jorginho, Jakub Kiwior are all expected to make the bench.
