The Arsenal player ratings after The Gunners much needed 2-4 victory at Villa Park this afternoon…

Aaron Ramsdale – 7.5

Despite letting in two goals I thought Arsenal’s keeper had a very good game today & made some huge saves in the second-half to allow his team to go on and win the game.

Ben White – 7.0

A standard Ben White performance. Done his job and had some good moments.

William Saliba – 6.5

I thought Saliba could have done a lot better for Villa’s first goal. He could have got tighter to Watkins when he was running through. He was better in the second-half.

Gabriel – 7.0

Not Gabriel’s best performance by any means, and Arsenal’s defence overall didn’t have a great day today, however he was much better in the second-half.

Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7.5

Not a good first-half at all and gave the ball away for Villa’s first goal. However Zinchenko was much better in the second-half and scored his first Arsenal goal to get his side back into the game.

Jorginho – 8.5

Very good performance from Jorginho even before his screamer in added time to win Arsenal the game. My MOTM.

Granit Xhaka – 6.5

Not Xhaka’s best performance by any means & he looks like a player who’s been struggling to find his best form recently. He definitely plays better with Partey next to him.

Martin Odegaard – 7.0

He should have scored at 2-2 when Eddie Nketiah won the ball back high up the pitch. Luckily Arsenal still won otherwise the captain would have been kicking himself.

Bukayo Saka – 8.5

Every week Saka steps up and it wasn’t any different this afternoon. He gets kicked all over the place and at one point it looked like he was going to come off. He stayed on and helped Arsenal win the game.

Eddie Nketiah – 6.0

Eddie struggled today & he had a couple of chances he should have done better with, especially the header that looped onto the crossbar and a one-on-one in the first-half. He should have scored today.

Leandro Trossard – 6.5

Trossard’s first start for Arsenal in the league wasn’t a bad one, he had some good moments but didn’t do anything too special and was substituted in the second-half.
