The Arsenal player ratings after The Gunners MASSIVE 3-2 victory against Manchester United at a jubilant Emirates Stadium this afternoon…
Aaron Ramsdale – 7.0
He made a mistake for Manchester United’s second goal. He went to catch the ball from a corner, when he really should have punched it. However he made a world class save minutes before that & as usual his distribution was very good.
Ben White – 6.0
Not his best performance by any means. Picked up a silly yellow card and was substituted at half-time.
William Saliba – 7.0
Done his job superbly. Great on the ball, really good recovery runs and cleaned up at the back when needed.
Gabriel – 7.5
Both centre backs were great but I thought Gabriel was the better of the two. So aggressive as always and cleaned up from the back, especially from United’s corners. Excellent performance.
Oleksandr Zinchenko – 8.5
The only Ukrainian we need at Arsenal. He gets better every single week. A midfielder playing in left back & his distribution of the ball is one of the best I’ve seen. Top performance.
Thomas Partey – 8.0
Not his best performance, but he was still great nonetheless. He had a much better second-half, than first-half. Controlled the game after the break and was really good.
Granit Xhaka – 8.0
Like his midfield partner, not his best performance but was certainly still at a very good level. His work rate is phenomenal, as it is every single week.
Martin Odegaard – 8.0
He controls games with ease and makes playing football look so easy at times. He didn’t control the game as much as he probably would have liked but that was more due to how United player. His level performance right now is still top draw.
Bukayo Saka – 9.5
Arsenal’s starboy & my MOTM. Bukayo had Luke Shaw on strings, especially in that second-half. His goal was outrageous & he was Arsenal’s best player for me today.
Eddie Nketiah – 9.0
Eddie is a poacher. His finishing is so good inside the box, especially inside the six yard box, and we saw that again today. His overall game is really good & the best compliment I can give him is Arsenal aren’t missing Gabriel Jesus at all right now.
Gabriel Martinelli – 7.0
His ball retention was really poor in the first-half. He improved slightly in the second-half but was still the worse of the Arsenal front three today.
