Martin Odegaard was named in the Arsenal starting line-up to face FC Nurnberg in the first game of pre-season last week, however had to drop out at the last minute through injury.
Fabio Vieira took the Norwegian’s place in the starting eleven and produced a decent performance in the 60 minutes that he was on the pitch.
The latest on Martin Odegaard’s injury is that he was left out against FC Nurnberg due to a minor calf strain picked up in the warm-up. However the injury wasn’t a serious one and the player was more left out as a precaution due to it being only the first friendly of pre-season.
The Norwegian is back in full first-team training with the squad as Arsenal completed their first day in the United States this afternoon.
The club captain was seen enjoying training with his teammates, as the squad prepares for the game on Thursday against the MLS All-Stars. Martin Odegaard will be available for the match.
The game will kick-off at 1:30 GMT time and is being played at the Audi Field Stadium.
