Arsenal take on Manchester United in the second game of their pre-season tour of the United States on Saturday night.

Arsenal faced Wayne Rooney’s MLS All-Stars earlier this week with Mikel Arteta’s side running out 5-0 winners in their first game in the USA. However Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United side present a different kind of test as it’s going to be the Gunners’ first real challenge ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Both sides are set to have all of their new summer signings available for the game. Arsenal will have Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurriën Timber to choose from. Where as Erik Ten Hag will have Andre Onana and Mason Mount at his disposal.

Erik Ten Hag has spoken to the media before tonight’s match and has issued a warning to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side by saying: “We don’t play friendly games.”

It’s fighting talk from the Manchester United boss who clearly sees this game as much more than just a friendly match with the rivalry between the two clubs always present, even if it is just pre-season.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta also spoke to the media ahead of the game: “Every game is a test. Even though we got a good result the other day there are things we must do better than we did in the game.”

“We took a lot of positives from. We got fitness-wise the outcome that we wanted and we shared the minutes with a lot of players which was really good. Tomorrow will be different.”

“We’re against a team who are very used to playing together and they are big rivals for us in the Premier League. It will be amazing to play in this stadium. Full house, incredible atmosphere and a really good test to see where we are.”
