Arsenal fans couldn’t have heard better news before the Fulham game as Martin Ødegaard, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus are all in the squad that has travelled to Craven Cottage this afternoon.
GABRIEL JESUS IS BACK!
Martin Ødegaard missed the game against Sporting CP on Thursday, because of a reported illness, along with Kieran Tierney. It was expected that the Norwegian will miss the Fulham game as well, however the late fitness call showed that he is fit and ready to feature in Sunday’s game. Ødegaard has missed just one Premier League game this season, which was back in October against Brentford away.

Leandro Trossard got injured in last weekend’s game against Bournemouth, and had to be subbed off in the 22nd minute. It was reported that injury is worse than first feared, and that the Belgian will not be available until the international break. However, it looks like Trossard’s injury wasn’t so bad as he was assesed and deemed ready to participate against Fulham. Although, he probably isn’t fit enough to start, it is expected that Trossard will be on the bench and come on if needed.
Last but not least, massive news to all Arsenal fans, as Gabriel Jesus is ready and will be in contention for Sunday’s game. Jesus missed over three months of competitive football and will be a massive boost to Arsenal’s team in the final stages of the Premier League and Europa League. Jesus got injured in Brazil’s last group stage game against Cameroon and hasn’t played since.
There is no doubt that Arteta will be happy that he can count on Jesus again and Arsenal fans are craving to see their number nine back in action, which could be today at Craven Cottage.
