Arsenal face Manchester City in a title deciding clash at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow night and the Gunners have been handed an injury boost ahead of the game.

One of Manchester City’s best performers this season Nathan Aké is of tomorrow’s game with a hamstring injury.

The news was confirmed by Pep Guardiola in today’s press conference and is a massive blow for Manchester City and a big boost for the Gunners. Aké has been one of City’s standout performers this season and there is no doubt that anyone coming in his place tomorrow will have a hard task filling his boots, especially against Bukayo Saka.

Tomorrow’s match is arguably the biggest Arsenal game in years as it could very well be make or break for the Gunners title hopes this season.

In the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium in February, City ran out 1-3 winners on that day which was the last time Arsenal were defeated in the league. Since then the Gunners have picked up 24 out of possible 30 points & go into the game on a 10 match unbeaten run.

So far this season, Aké has played 23 games in the Premier League with an average rating of 7.14, which puts him in contention for the Premier League Team Of The Season as the left-back.

However, on the other side, Arsenal will be without William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu for the trip to the Etihad on Wednesday.
